Man charged with attempted murder in East Lothian

A 27-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an attempted murder in East Lothian.
A 28-year-old man suffered numerous injuries to his head, arm and abdomen following the incident in Fishers Wynd on Saturday 5 February.
Lothian and Borders Police said the investigation was ongoing and detectives were continuing to follow a number of lines of inquiry.
The man is due to appear at Haddington Sheriff Court later.
