Man treated after 'liquid attack' in Glasgow's west end

A man is being treated in hospital after an unknown liquid was thrown in his face during an attack in Glasgow.
Police were called to reports that a man had been assaulted near the Lloyds TSB on Dumbarton Road, Partick, at about 11:00 on Wednesday.
The man was taken to the nearby Western Infirmary for treatment. Details of his condition are not yet known.
Strathclyde Police said that inquiries into the incident, in the city's west end, were ongoing.
