One dead after Newmains road incident

One man has died and another person has been hurt after an incident in Newmains in North Lanarkshire.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to reports of a road accident at about 23:00 on Tuesday night in Crindledyke Crescent.
Two people were taken from the scene. One man, who was 23, died in Wishaw General Hospital, while a second man is being treated for his injuries.
Officers are still at the scene and diversions have been put in place.
