Woman whose body found at disused Glasgow factory is Diane Lann
Published: 11th May 2012 11:40:11
A woman whose body was found at a disused factory in Glasgow has been named as Diane Lann.
The 47-year-old was discovered at the unit on Cowlairs Road in Springburn at about 14:30 on Wednesday afternoon.
She had been reported missing on 2 April and was last seen by her daughter that day at 21:00 in Battlefield Road, Cathcart, near the Victoria Infirmary.
Strathclyde Police said there were "no obvious suspicious circumstances" surrounding Ms Lann's death.
The force said, however, that a full investigation was ongoing "to clarify the circumstances which led to her being at a disused building in Springburn".
