Mexico violence: Monterrey police find 37 bodies in bags
Published: 13th May 2012 15:51:15
At least 37 bodies have been found wrapped in plastic bags near the northern Mexican city of Monterrey.
Police said the bodies were found dumped by a road.
Officials released few details of the discovery, but the killings appear to be the latest in a string of brutal murders linked to feuding drugs gangs.
Tens of thousands of people have died in Mexico since 2006, when President Felipe Calderon deployed the army to combat the drug cartels.
