Toddler who died after falling from car in Stockwood named

A toddler who died after falling from a moving vehicle on to the road in Stockwood, Bristol, has been named.

Police said two-year-old Levi Brailsford fell from the car as it turned left out of Hollway Road into Stockwood Lane on Friday.

A spokeswoman from the Avon and Somerset police force said he suffered suffered serious head injuries.

She said that he was taken to Frenchay Hospital, where his death was confirmed.

The force spokeswoman said: "Police inquiries continue to discover exactly what happened and police are keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident who may have information to help their investigation."
