Man, 22, arrested over rape of 19-year-old woman in Glasgow

A man has been arrested after a 19-year-old woman was raped in Glasgow's west end last weekend.
The teenager was attacked while walking in Lilybank Gardens, towards Ashton Lane, at about 02:00 on 19 May. Her attacker then ran off into Ashton Lane.
Strathclyde Police said that a 22-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the incident and was being detained in custody.
He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.
