Mark Gormly forfeits £99,960 'crime cash'
Published: 25th May 2012 13:28:44
A man has forfeited £99,960 in cash under proceeds of crime laws.
Mark Gormly, from Airdrie, North Lanarkshire, was found with the cash after police stopped him in the Motherwell area in January 2008.
He was under surveillance from officers who received information that he would be taking delivery of cash or drugs on behalf on an organised crime group.
The 25-year-old did not contest the forfeiture of the cash at Hamilton Sheriff Court.
