Former bank manager Rhona Gallacher embezzles £76,000

A former bank manager from Ayrshire is facing a prison sentence for embezzling more than £76,000.
Rhona Gallacher, 35, from Kilmaurs, admitted taking £47,000 from her elderly parents after being entrusted with their financial affairs.
She also admitted taking £25,685 from elderly customers at the Lloyds TSB branch in Kilbirnie and stealing £4,500 from Kilmaurs gala fund.
Sentence on Gallacher was deferred at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court.
Gallacher admitted three charges of embezzlement between 2010 and August last year.
Her bail was continued pending sentence later this month.
