Pedestrian, 19, dies after collision near Machynlleth

A 19-year-old pedestrian has died after he was struck by a vehicle near Machynlleth in the early hours of Saturday, say Dyfed-Powys Police.
Officers said the man was walking along the A487 about five miles south of the town at about 0120 BST when it happened.
They are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Anyone who witnessed the incident can call Dyfed-Powys Police by calling 101.
